How is microneedling performed?
Microneedling utilizes a device that gently glides over your skin, penetrating the upper layers. Before the procedure, Dr. Morgenstern and his staff will cleanse the treatment area and apply a numbing cream so that you are comfortable during the procedure. Then, he will roll the small, handheld device, which has a sterile tip, over your skin. The disposable tip on the device has 12 super-fine needles that gently penetrate about 2 millimeters into the upper layers of your skin.
Regenerate your skin, naturally.
This safe, effective procedure creates numerous minuscule, controlled wounds on the surface of your skin. In response, your body produces extra elastin and collagen to fill in the tiny wounds and make your skin plumper. The increase in natural collagen production reduces the visibility of fine lines, scars, and wrinkles. Dr. Morgenstern will continue the process over your entire face to give you a refreshed, smoother appearance.
